What is Christmas season like at Sea World?

I know it is fall and the Halloween Spooktacular event is going on this month, but I wanted to know what the holiday season (Christmas) is like at Sea World. Are there weekend only events or are there daily holiday themed shows and festivities? We are considering going back to WDW the week after Thanksgiving and would most likely visit Sea World too during that week. Disney has MVMCP, the Candlelight Processional, and the Osborne Lights show, so I was wondering what Sea World has to offer and when do the holiday festivities typically begin their run? Thank you.

All the holiday shows run on weekends. The Christmas shows include a Shamu night show called "Miracles" a Sealion and Otter Christmas show called "Clyde and Seamore countdown to Christmas" a Sesame Street show called "Elmo's Christmas", an Ice Skating night show called "Winter Winderland on Ice", and a fireworks show called "Holiday Reflections" Last year, the shows offered any day of the week were the Shamu night show and Sealion and Otter night show. The Elmo show, ice skating show and fireworks show were only performed on weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) as well as all week before and after Christmas. Basically any day with an 11:00pm closing, you will get everything. Any day with a 6:00 closing, you will only get the Shamu and Sealion shows.

Other fun Christmas experiences include, "Polar Express Experience" Which is a motion simulator set to scenes from the popular movie. This is normally where the "Wild Arctic" ride is, but the ride is redone for the Christmas season to become the Polar Express Experience. This ride is opened everyday from mid November to New Years day. Regardless of the park closing time. There is a ton of decor and 60+ Christmas trees in a lake that light up to holiday music.

Thank you KBF :thumbsup2

Is the Polar Express experience and the Sea of Trees show only offered on the weekends as well? Thanks.

No. Those are offered every day starting the day after Thanksgiving and going until New Years day. Actually, Polar express may open a little earlier than that. Like mid November.

OP, thanks for asking about this and thanks KBF for all the info. I'm heading down the weekend after Thanksgiving and was wondering about Sea World at the holidays. In the past, I've never strayed from Disney but this year I'm staying by Sea World so that I can hit all three major parks (Disney, SeaWorld and Universal).
