What is Captains Grill like?

We were planning on going to Captains grill on our upcoming trip and was wondering if they have food worth going to?

The food is quite good. Not "signature restaurant" good, but I have had several solid, tasty meals there and will go back again.

Cool! I was worried the food might just a blah. Are the crab legs here good and filling enough?

It's very good! That was the first restaurant we ate at on our trip a few weeks ago and it was really good! I'd definitely go back!

The Captains Grille was a pleasant surprise for us when we ate there in Jan. We were staying at the YC and really wanted to relax and not go far once we got in. We ended up making an ADR and really enjoyed the restaurant.

It does have a quite atmosphere but is not heavily themed. You will not be disappointed in the food. We are heading to WDW next week through Christmas and have an ADR at Captains Grille for one of the days for lunch.

The crab legs were AWESOME!! It was very filling too. One of my favorite meals!!

I thought it was good but DH did not like it. He had some kind of fish and crab cakes for an appetizer. I had the rib eye which was good but DH said it had a lot of fat on it. The profiteroles were a nice surprise. They were much better than what we had heard on these boards. It was the night of my birthday and they brought me a special chocolate mousse dessert. My only complaint was the service was not up to par, (possibly because they had a lot of large tables with business people). It was definately a convention resort restaurant when we were there.
