What is busiest Spring Break week 2018?

I'm looking at airfares (still) for 2018- and I noticed that the one flight I'm still looking at (apr 22,Sunday) is higher priced than all the Sundays in April....I had thought the busiest/priciest times were late March into early April next year? I'm trying to convince myself to pull the trigger on one last fare I need.....

Most likely there aren't many seats left on that high priced flight. Not all school districts/colleges have spring break around Easter.

I am booked on a flight down on April 22, for no specific reason, just wanted to avoid Easter and I thought, most spring breaks.

I can't speak to everywhere, but up here April 22 is the LAST day of most massachusetts schools April break and the first Sunday of NH's break. So it's a busy travel day in the north east.

ahhhhhh that may be it! I'm in the NE at BDL..... I guess I'll just bite the bullet since it seems to be a busy flying time..... I don't want to travel on spring break ever again!

Not sure what week CT has off, some districts line up with MA breaks, some don't.

one family member is a teacher in CT, and that's her week off....so I guess I should have figured this one out lol but I'm slow sometimes

Fellow BDL'er here. While BDL flights are expensive because lots of CT and MA schools have that week off, you will find that nationally most schools are NOT off that week. That will be a (relatively) slow week at WDW.

well that's good I guess! I guess that's where I got confused, by trip calendars for parks showing higher crowds earlier....so it's our area that is high that week...makes sense

What may be driving up airfare could be the Florida Volleyball Challenge; 23,000 volleyball players will be converging on Orlando that weekend.

Have you considered flying through TPA and renting a car?

That is the last day of spring break here in VT too. A lot of us use BDL too. Most people probably snatched that flight up on release day.
