What is a typical response time for TAs?

For those of you who use a TA , or are a TA, what is a typical response time to clients? On my last trip, my TA usually took 36-48 hours to respond to my emails (we only cooresponded by email), and that seemed like too long to me. Is that a typical response time, or am I just being too impatient?

I've only used a TA once, that was for our trip last month. I heard back from mine within probably 6 hours of sending an email at the longest. However, I knew she lives in a different time zone, and I tried to send the requests in the evening, when she was off from her "regular" job and doing her TA work. This was obviously someone I know.

I usually try to reply immediately or within just a few hours at most, but always within 24 hours regardless.

We are using a TA for the first time this year. She responds back to me within 5-6 hours usually. If I email later in the day, I may not get a response until the next morning but b/c her time zone is two hours earlier than mine, it is typically very early in the morning.

36-48 hours seems too long to me unless it is over the weekend.

My TA I used my last 2 trips was SO wonderful when it came to responding to emails. She would respond back within the hour, even on weekends no matter what.. which kind of spoiled me because the TA I used this year took a lot longer and I sometimes wouldn't hear back from her until the next day.

The one I've used for the last 10 years has always responded within a few hours at most. And if it's something urgent, I often get a phone call as soon as she reads the e-mail.

ETA: While my TA is great at responding to e-mails, I also have her cell phone number so I can call or text her with something urgent that requires immediate action though that has never happened.

my TA usually replies fairly quickly. I e-mailed with a question last night and she replied ~ 7:30AM today.

I hear from my TA within hours, even though we live in different time zones. It's a 3 hr difference. Doesn't matter, weekends, evenings..she always gets back within a few hrs. Sometimes only an hour.
