What is a phrase you see on the Dis boards all the time that you NEVER hear people actually say in real life?

I have never, ever, in my life, heard someone say this out loud in normal conversation. It is said here ALL the time.

Nah, I've actually had conversations around this topic WITH DISNEYLAND CAST MEMBERS. It annoys them as much as it annoys us.

People areound here say "snagged" for things like tickets and reservations. Now the term ADR is weird to me becuase I work in the hotel industry and ADR stands for Average Daily Rate. Disney's ADR is certianly quite high I might add. For a dinner reservation, we would likely just say "Res", not even "Ressie".

For some reason, that use of the word really bugs me! Not a fan of "ressie" either. But definitely Disney only terms, never heard them elsewhere.

I worked in a prison, it's used there too. how many sleeps until release day. or so many sleeps and a wake up.

In tennessee where we lived for several years, it was called a "coke" or cold drink. All pop was called a Coke??? I guess it was regional,
