Hi Everyone, this boards are so informative. I thought I knew alot about Disney until I found this site and learned so much more!

Can someone tell me what a discount code is, how do I use them and are they open to anyone?

We are planning a trip for May 2003 but have been waiting to book our hotel.

Any help from you veterans would be great! Thanks!

Check the travel section of your local newspaper and the www.disneyworld.com web site itself for codes. I saw one in the Chicago Tribune several weeks before I left, it was an add stating: ...3 things you can do on your next Disney vacation: save, save, save!...at the bottom in fine print was the three letter code you ask for when you call CRO for a room. I got 25% off/night at the All Star Music for a standard view with 2 queens. Of course, I went in October which is the lesser crowded season and the higher-traveled seasons may not offer discount codes. Not sure. Hope this helps!!!

Discount codes for hotel bookings are found on different web sites:
www.orlandotripplanner.com posts them on message boards and an Alerts Page
mousesavers.com posts them for Disney hotels .
and this web site also has a discounts page that you can access from the home page.
