I have spoken with several CM's at CRO since I made my October CR/BC ressies. I booked a tower room with a request for a MK view (non-smoking) and a King bed. My first letter of confirmation from WDW said non-smoking was the only request. So I called back and made sure to note that I requested a King bed and a MK view. I get a new letter saying non-smoking/King bed requested...SO I called ANOTHER time a few days ago and spoke to a very friendly CM. I told her that we were coming for our honeymoon and that I would LOVE a MK view. She congratulated us on the happy union and told us she was putting MK view with the word PLEASE in big letters on the ressie. We got the new confirmation letter and it STILL doesn't say MK requested...only non-smoking and King bed!

Now EACH call I made to CRO I was sure to tell them it was our honeymoon, and each CM congratulated me, which leads me to understand that NONE of them had actually put on the ressie that it was our honeymoon, OR that we were expressly requesting a MK view!

Should my confirmation letter actually say "MK view requested", because I swear I have no problem calling again...

Your confirmation will not have all your requests noted on it. If you really want the MK view I suggest you pay for it. That way you wouldn't have to worry about it.

You CAN'T pay for it until next year, I believe. I'm going in October. I just wanted to make sure that my requests are dooly noted, so nobody can say "well you never said you wanted". I don't mind a bay view if that's all there is, but not because I "never asked", know what I mean?

You can also ask at check in. If you have mentioned it that many times it probably is in the notes.

Jennasis,
Are you going in October of 2005 or 2006? Reason I ask is because starting in 2006 a MK view at the Contemporary Tower will be it's own category. You will need to pay for that category. There will be no more requesting a MK view, you will automatically get the Bay view if you have not booked the MK view.
But this year they are still doing the requests for either Bay or MK view.
Hope this makes sense. Just made a booking for a client for December 2006 and he has a guaranteed MK view, because he booked and will pay for that category.

All our requests are noted on our confirmation, except non-smoking. I requested: non-smoking, MK view, upper floor and also that it will be DD's birthday and they are all on the confirmation.

Yup, going this year. I wish we could've just payed extra to be guaranteed the view, just to be safe, but what can ya do?

It's been so long since we've taken a vacation that I am stressing the small stuff trying to make it perfect. I gotta chill out!
