what incentives are being offered?

Im new to this board! We are seriously considering DVC. Im wondering if we purchased now would our "home" resort be Beach Club Villas?Or do we have a choice?
Also, does anyone know what type of incentives they are offering now?
And Im not too sure what a "use year" means. If for examlple, we need to vacation during the summer due to our schedules, would I need to request a summer month to be my use year?

Im sorry if Im asking "simple" questions but Im sure Ive come to the right place for answers!

Yes, if you purchased through Disney right now and you wanted a WDW resort it would be BCV. The incentive is a $5 discount per point making the price $70 per point (you don't have to sell back any points like the old incentive) or you could choose a number of free nights stays in a standard room at a deluxe or moderate room at WDW, this number is based on the amount of points you purchase.

Welcome to the DVC board!!! I am kinda new here myself but I will attempt to asnwer the USE YEAR ????

Basicly use years is the month you get your point allotment for that year.... so say you have a June "use year" That means on June 1st you will have your pooints placed in your account and they are valid until June 31st (am I right on that) of the next year. Now you can borrow points and you can bank (save) points. And your Use year (inthis example June) determines when you can bank or borrow points. I believe (but dont quote me on this...) if you have a June use year you have until Dec 31st to bank 100% of your points.... the longer you wait to bank the less % you can save....

I dont know it that makes any sense..... hope it does!
