I made my ADR's then my MIL decided she and my BIL are going so I had to call and add them to all our meals. It was a big hassel because I had to change times and conf. # and some I couldnt even get.Now she's not sure if she's staying the whole time we are.I am not calling back and going through all that change again and risk losing some of my ADR's.

So my question is: If WE(3) show up for our ressies and they dont will this be ok? can we just tell them it will just be 3 now.I really dont want to risk losing my ressies to these restaurants and getting my times changed.I'm happy with it right now.

Any input. :confused3

Not sure about showing with less people but we showed up at WCC with 3 extra, totally prepared to send them to Roaring Forks. The CM didn't blink an eye! "Oh sure, that's not a problem." And this was the Friday after Thanksgiving. :thumbsup2 They seem to be very flexible.

We've reduced from 4 to 3 and from 3 to 2 on quite a few occasions. We've never had a problem. Good luck:earsboy:

1) Most ADR's, no problem.
2) If it is a special meal, you get charged for a no-show.
3) Examples:
. . . Hoop-Dee-Do or Luau
. . . Mickey's BBQ
. . . CRT or Princess Storybook
. . . California Grill

NOTE: AS a general rule, if they took a credit card number ar ADR time, you will be charged for a no show. Based upon the restaurant, it is $10, $15, $20 or full meal price PER PERSON NO SHOW.

Official policy is that if you change table size, you get charged for as many no shows as you have, at those restaurants that take gurantees. If you drop from 3 to 2, you get charged for 1 no-show, if you increase from 4 to 5 it is more bizarre, in that you get marked as if a full 4 top did not show up and you get charged for 4 people.

This is policy, it really depends on what a particular restaurant reports as to what will really happen.

ok- so if we have to change the # of people from 6 to 2, do we have to cancel the original ADR and try/hope to get a table for 2?

figmentfan704 - For some of our ADRs, 2 friends can not make it any longer. When I called to change the ADRs, the CM said to make the new ones first, then right after cancel our original ADRs. I got all my ADRs so it wasn't a problem, then cancelled the old ones.

:goodvibes

We have shown up missing a few people many times for various reasons and it's never a problem unless it's one with a credit card deposit.

Thanks so much. This has been helpful. The only one that took our credit card they were not going with us anyway.I think I'll just hold out on the ADR we have and just tell them when I get there.

My experience from last week with ADR's was as follows:

Princess Storybook - ressie for 3 - we all went and DH wasn't interested in eating dinner there, but sat with us anyway & we were charged as a $10 no show for him. Understood and was grateful to not be charged full price because, to be quite honest, I didn't want their food either!

Lunch at CRT - ressie for 3, but DH couldn't make it. Called to have ressie chagned to 2 and was told no tables were available for 2 and that I could always cancel. Well, my DD would have died if we didn't get to eat at the castle, so I was willing to pay for DH as a no-show. They did manage to change my ressie to 2 and I was not charged any additional.
