What if vacation starts on 2007 and ends in 2008, and other questions?

Can we get the 2007 deal for the five nights we will be at the Beach Club Villas? I have no interest in the 2008 plan, just 2007.

Also, we have already made dinner reservations - If the DVC owner we rented from makes the DDP arrangements for us, are those ressies okay, or do we need to re-book, or specify that we have now become DDP guests?

Lastly, in your opinion, are DDP people treated any differently than regular guests? Although we are generous tippers, I am afraid that the servers or hosts may treat us like second class citizens, am I nuts??

If you vacation package starts in 2007, at least the first 10 days of it can be subject to the 2007 pricing and rules. It isn't clear if that will extend to DVC reservations, but it probably will.

There is no real linkage between the hotel reservation and the dining reservations. You don't need to re-book dining reservations you've already made.

I noticed no difference between dining as a Dining Plan patron versus dining as a non-Dining Plan patron.
