What If School Loses In Court RE Worship?

Recent news note (Paul Harvey News & Comment), don't recall the city.

A public school was holding Bible studies during lunch hour for anyone who cared to attend, until someone complained. Not wishing to spend money to litigate, the school voluntarily stopped the Bible studies.

What, pray, would happen if --- the school continued to hold the Bible studies, a lawsuit occurred, the school defended itself on the cheap (you know the thing where you be your own lawyer and have a fool for a client) and the school lost. The judge banged down the gavel, declared "judgment for plaintiff", and everyone filed out of the courtroom. What would happen next?

If I were a student there, I'd get a group together and continue to hold our own Bible studies.

well, a public school CAN'T hold Bible Studies. But they can allow a group of students to use an empty classroom to meet on their own and study the Bible. Especially if the school is allowing other groups to meet in a similar fashion.

As long as student's aren't pressured to attend and teachers aren't doing things such as offering 5 Extra Credit Bonus points if you show up, the school would have a good case.

As far as what would happen next:

Somebody would write up some mass email spam that would distort the facts to the point where students were chaining themselves to desks begging to be allowed to study their Bibles, while left wing NEA membered teachers were hacking away at the padlocks and punishing them for their insolence by assigning 10 page term papers on why Atheism.....which would hit my Inbox at least 23 times over the next 4 months.

Most likely the classes would just cease and by next year everybody would have forgotten about it.
