What if it gets warm in the afternoon?

So I get that we should dress in layers to the parks because it could start out pretty cool in the mornings. But what do you do with sweatshirts and pants and jackets when it is warmer by the afternoon? I will have a backpack with me but I don't think I could carry all those extra clothes for a family of 5. I also can't see us going back to resort to change or drop off stuff. What do others do?

Thanks anyone.

I always stick them in the basket of our stroller. I like the locker idea though! :)

We're flying to Disney Saturday ... the prediected high temps during our stay are 68°- 73°.

I figure I'll dress the GK (7 & 8) in long pants, short-sleeved tees and they can wear their light weight spring jackets or fleece *hoodies.*

If they get warm they can tie the jackets/hoodies around their waists ... or we can rent a locker.

Tie them around the waist. We also got bags from the stores and carried them in those, but those bags got bulky and too much to carry fast.

We wore jackets that we could tie around our waist when it got warm.
We rented a locker one day when it rained, but I couldn't tell you how much just the locker costs. We bought 3 adult ponchos & 1 child & it was about $30. When we turned in our locker key we got back a $2 deposit. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

I dress my 3 dds in pants that zip-off and create shorts. JCPenny's has them in several colors. I discovered them two years ago when we went in January. They worked great! I'm getting bigger sizes for our upcoming March trip. It wasn't any problem to fit the zipped off portion in a bag.

DH and I will usually just wear shorts to start the day. After being in the sub-zero Illinois weather I figure even 50 will feel warm:sunny:

This is so wrong that I hate to post it - so here goes...You could put all of your stuff in a bag and go to city hall and turn it in as "lost" and then when you leave have someone else in your party go in and "claim" the bag - it's the villain in me coming out! I would never do this! I swear!

ok good idea.
What is the cost?

Lockers rent for $7, but you get a $2 refund if you return the key! They have several sizes, too, so make sure you ask for a larger one if your bag is too big! But if you're just stuffing in sweatshirts and jackets, any of them will do fine!

We are going in 9 days:bounce: My son (7) will wear the zip off pants so he can zip off the bottom part if he gets hot. My daughter (5) will be wearing capri pants. Many of her pants that I got for this summer are a little longer on her, so I figure they will come to the bottom of her calf. My hubby and I will be in shorts. After a month of zero degrees, I figure 70 will feel like 90 to us!!!
