Just planning for Plan B in case we are heading home after our Hawaiian trip in February back to Canada, and our pre-boarding Covid test (we bought a LAMP test for our return flight) says one of us is positive. Will any hotel accept a reservation from us? What would we need to disclose? Any recommendations as to where to isolate for the 10 day period? I don’t think there is a lot of direction on line for this….but perhaps I just haven’t found it yet. Any intel?

thanks
Inga

We have wondered the exact same. As well, hotel costs on Oahu, Maui etc. are very high right now as well.

You need to show negative test or proof of vaccination and ID to check into any hotels and at ALL restaurants. At least, that's the requirement at the moment. I'm not sure where you would go if you tested positive...
Good luck!

Do you have to test if you are vaccinated?

The OP is from Canada. They have to show a negative before they fly home to Canada.

While on Oahu, you do not have to test if you're vaccinated in order to check into a hotel or to enter a restaurant.
