What I woke up to this morning...pics added

Remember that light dusting we had last night...well its not a light dusting anymore. Our town is practically shut down today, no school or work. Heavy wet snow, about 6 inches or so. We're used to snow here but I think this caught everyone off guard and its very very heavy. The snow had knocked out power in a good portion of town, trees are falling left and right. I was outside with the dogs and our neighbors tree lost a few branches (another one just fell). I'll post pictures as soon as I can get them uploaded my internet connection is intermitent at best right now actually so is the power. lol

Wow, what a pain. And here I'm whining because the temp has dipped down into the 40's this week. Snow days are fun but it seems awfully early for one!

Wow, it is early for snow, but they say this is due to Wilma and two other storms! I hope it doesn't last long. and stay warm!

It looks so beautiful. Over the weekend, I bought new snow boots. I was thinking it was a little too early to buy them, but now I am glad that I did. Stay warm.

Yep, it's snowing here in Pittsburgh, too, but it's not laying on the ground or roads. Snow is only nice 3 times: the first snowfall is always pretty; snow at Christmas is good; and snow on weekends when you don't have to go anywhere and can just stay inside and enjoy it. I hate snow on work and school days - traffic is horrible!!

Wow! For most of my life I lived in the Clearwater/St.Petersburg area of Florida, and thought that living with snow in the winter must be heavenly. Eleven years ago we moved to Maryland, and my opinion of snowy winters has changed. I'm ready to move back to Florida now.
