Yes, I'm an Avitar skeptic. And I was never a fan of DinoLand. Both those areas makes the theming of the park disjointed IMO.
I'm sure I'm not the first one to think of it but I wish they would have had a land for each continent.
Each land would have at least one ride attraction and at least one walking trail (like what already exists for Africa and Asia).
Africa - keep as is (Kilimanjaro Safaris, jungle trek, Tusker House, FOLK)
Asia - keep Expedition Everest, Yak & Yeti, and jungle trek (but move it behind EE and add giant pandas and Asian elephants)
North America - retheme Kali River rapids to be a close replica of Grizzly River Run in DCA (not just the theming but the ride itself)
Europe - retheme the Rafiki's Planet Watch into a relaxing, non-stop train ride through different European scenes separated by short tunnels (with the European and North American animal walks between the two lands, with the North American walk being where the Asia jungle trek is currently located and the European walk being adjacent to the train attraction).
Australia - this would be where they're currently putting Avitarland. It would include an Australian outback walk (with kangaroos, koala bears, etc.) and a great barrier reef submarine ride. This would only be similar to Nemo Subs in DL in that the subs would be on a track but the subs themselves would descend deeper into the water and be totally different. The entire top half of the sub would be transparent and people would sit in rows facing forward with the seats leaning back about 20 degrees. Each sub would have a narrator (similar to Kilimanjaro Safaris) who would point out sharks, sea turtles, sting rays, tropical fish, etc.
South America - retheme Dinosaur into a South American jungle trek ride (could use the same track system) and put a nature walk behind it that includes, among other things, an exotic tropical bird collection.
Polar Land - this would be in the current carnival themed area of Dino Land and could even include the same rides (just with a polar theme) and a fantastic shaved ice place. Behind the rides would be an indoor Animal viewing area with penguins, polar bears, seals, etc.
Keep Discovery Island, Tree of Life, It's Tough to be a Bug, Nemo show and Flights of Wonder.
