What hours is the monorail normally closed due to heat?

Trying to plan our return times to the DLH for our trip on 7/20-7/22. We like to take the monorail back to our hotel in the early afternoon and return in the early evening but I am not sure what hours we can expect it to be closed due to afternoon heat. It seems like they close it for several hours even if the temp is just in the 80’s. Also what time does it usually close for fireworks?

It usually has to be mid 80's or above for it to close. The timing will depend on when the temperature reaches those thresholds. If it's borderline, it may not close at all or it could close just a few hours 1-4. If it's hotter and above 90, it could be closed 11-6 or 7.

It's possible on your dates the temperature is mild and stays below the mid-80's. If so, it won't be an issue for you.

Unfortunately, no one on here will be able to know what the weather will be this far out. Even the long range weather forecast will not be reliable until just a few days out. This past weekend they said it would be 78 in Anaheim, at one point up to 87, and it ended up being 82. Monorail ran all day the entire time was there 7/2-7/6. Last year on the same dates it was upper-80's and it closed midday a couple of times and reopened later. Monorail also closes before and during fireworks before reopening at night.

Been following the monorail status on the app. This is what ticks me off. It’s 7:16pm PT and it’s 82 degrees and the monorail is still closed. It’s been closed since 2pm.
