Hello Everyone! :flower3:

In your opinion what hotel offers the best Concierge level service and amenities? What were the perks of staying on Concierge level? Besides doing a Vow Renewal, I am also planning a family vacation AND honeymoon. Thanks. :thumbsup2

We stayed in the honeymoon room concierge level at the GF.

I LOVED the GF for a wedding, but did not think the Honeymoon Room was worth it.

(Pros and Cons specifically for GF Honeymoon Concierge)

Pros-the view was AMAZING

Cons-

-it's not in the same area as the concierge lounge. We had to take an elevator and then walk down a corridor to get to it.
-we were too busy to go out of our way that distance to take advantage of all the snacks
-the jacuzzi tub is too small for two people
-the room is the same size as the regular GF rooms

My parents, on the other hand stayed in a Deluxe Concierge at the GF. The room was twice as large, and they were right next to the concierge lounge. Of course, they didn't have the jacuzzi tub or the castle view, but they still had a gorgeous view of the grounds, plus a huge sitting area.

Personally, my parents' room would have been a perfect splurge for the day or two leading up to the wedding. It would have been nice to have that space to get ready in, plus the convenience.

But, for the honeymoon, I think 1BR DVC is nicer (with a larger jacuzzi tub).

I have heard that the Poly concierge is an AWESOME, well-worth-it splurge, though.

Thanks for your candid feedback and for sharing your experience. It helps a lot. Does anyone have any feedback or pictures about the Polynesian Concierge level?

I've stayed at the Poly concierge and BWI's concierge, so my experience is limited to those two resorts. It would be really hard for me to say one is better than the other because I believe they are both wonderful! Each resort has it's own special ammenities and features that make it unique and beautiful. The CM's at those two resorts are well known for their attentiveness and personal service.

IMO, the perks are "intangible"...yeah, there's the lounge and the ADR/planning service but those to me are "expected". It's the unexpected stuff that makes the perks hard to describe. We've had exceptional and unexpected surprises from the staff at both resorts and would highly recommend either.

If you check out these threads (and others!) on the resorts board, you'll find lots of pictures and info from the resort "fans":
