What hotel does the MK fireworks cruise leave from?

Title says it all.... We are hoping to get the Grand Gathering MK fireworks cruise for an upcoming trip. It leaves from the GF right??? Or the CR?

When I booked it, they asked me where I wanted to leave from -- the GF, the Polynesian, or the Contemporary. We chose the Polynesian.

Ours left from the Marina at the CR.

When we went the grand gathering was at the marina of the contemporary. There was food available first which was on the dockside....then everyone got on the boats...we were all assigned a row on the boat...so nobody rushed to get onboard!
