What holiday wknd 2015-Memorial day or July 4?

Hi everyone! We are WDW regulars trying to plan our 1st DL trip! Due to work we can only go on a holiday weekend-Memorial weekend, or 4th of July. Can anyone give me advice on what time would be better for less crowds? Anyone there this year at those times? We would base our time on whatever weekend- 4 nights, would be less crowded. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

We usually go on the Canadian Victoria Day long weekend which is one week before Memorial Day. The weather then is always great but SoCal AP's are still in effect and that increases the crowds (they are mostly blacked-out during the summer peak). Try researching hotel rates for both periods - the higher the prices the higher the demand, which should tell you something about predicted crowd levels. The hours will be longer and there will be fewer planned ride refurbs during peak though so everything is a trade off and the more compact space of DLR may make the crowds seem worse to you regardless.
