When I first started on the DIS I wasn't sure what DH meant and I had a supervisor at work who was in the process of leaving her husband and all ways refered to him as D.H., at first I though it was actually his name till she told me what it really ment... well the the H stood for head and we will leave it at that. So when all the wives on the DIS we calling their husbands DH I thought that it wasn't very nice, I was glad when I found out it ment Disney Husband.

This is too, too funny! My DH also thinks I am crazy for spending so much time on the DIS boards. I do much more reading than posting since I haven't been to WDW since I was young and don't have much to add, but all of that changes next month!
I have learned so much from the DIS that I know we will have a great trip!

It is good to know I am not alone in this crazy addiction that does seem to get worse the closer we get to our trip!

ok ........ i guess i have to own up to it....... or him ......... this "BO" character is my DH!!!! and a comedian at that too ....... see i have been talking about planning a trip to disney for like 2 years now ..... and about a month ago i finaly did it .... actually.... my DH found this website for me as i was planning our trip.... so he only has himself to blame .... can you blame be for being excited??? we are leaving in 25 days!! i am also so excited for my kids DD 9 and DD 15 they are going to have the time of their life!! Actually i think he is also excited way deep down inside somewhere ........ vicki

My DH also introduced me to the boards. He reads just as much as I do but he doesn't post. Maybe I will steer him to this thread . I called him at work to tell him Hey Honey I finally made Mouseketeer.

I think you are going to be there when we are there. We are staying at POR. I don't normally jump on threads like this but I couldn't resist when I saw you spell your name the same as me.

My DH is saying the same thing about me. I'm making mousekeeping envelopes, t-shirts, sweatshirts, autograph pages, ... This is our third trip in three years. I love Disney!!!!!! Vicki

heh I posted this elsewhere too, but a couple of days ago my DH changed his desktop wallpaper to a night shot of Epcot SE. He called me from work the other night and said "I wish we were at Disney already... I have to go back to work now... 'Those dogs suck.' I kid you not those were his exact words. If you want to understadn why he said that, read PrincessAuroras trip report on the Trip Report board.

All of that really long-winded schpiel to say that it is only a matter of time before he posts on here

Things are sort of turned around at our house. It's me the DH who's on here all the time...lol My DW asks me if I am trying to set up a date with some chicks somewhere...hahaha. I am finding all kinds of things that will be useful when we go, less then 3 month! YEA!!!!

Well...this is so so funny! I laughed the whole time reading these posts. My DH would know better than to show me another website about WDW. I, like you disappear many times a day, and the paint chip thing sends my DH right over the edge. I made my tags and our next trip is quite a ways off, being around the DISboards at least gives me a bit of "the magic" while I wait for our next trip.

Just the other day, DH said to me.....how are you going to wait that long to go to WDW? I told him if he thought it was a problem he could take me sooner!!!!

i read on another thread that disers get green mickey head paint swatches at home depot, and somehow attach them to themselves or their backpack, whatever....to tag themselves as a diser at wdw. hope this helps!

Ok, my hubby knows how much time I spend on the here. The sad part is he isn't even in the country! My DH is in the Air Force and is in Korea right now. He has even asked me what is happening here on the board. Now, DS and DD-12 are both on the boards, and of course, DD-9 is wanting to post. He doesn't know he is in for when he gets home.

My DH saw how many posts I have and said in his work in computers and all the boards he has ever posted on in his entire life combined, he has not posted as many as I have on the DIS. I tried to tell him mine was relatively low.

I have to stop myself from referring to him as DH in general conversation.

I try to limit myself to 2 or 3 DIS related comments per day. It's getting harder the closer we get now.

If I tell him something about anything, he starts to say...where did you hear that? Oh, nevermind, must be the cult, I mean DIS. If I ask his opinion on something he says, "What do you buddies on the Dis have to say about it?" The bad part is, I have usually already asked it here!

Go to Home Depot to their paint section. There's a whole area dedicated to Disney paint themes. Where they have paint chip samples, instead of the strips with several colors on them, the Disney samples have one color per card, and they are in the shape of a Mickey head!! The "official" DIS color is Alien Green (or "lime" as you'll frequently see around the boards). DIS people grab up a few of these and stick them on a backpack, hat, etc.. Then if someone else from the DIS boards is at WDW when you are and they see your lime green Mickey head, they can identify you as a fellow DISer!

"Mousekeeping" is the Disney term for housekeeping - as in the wonderful folks who tidy up your room every day. If you go to this link:
