What have you done that you swear no one else has done at Disney!

I stood at a urinal next to professional wrestler Kevin Sullivan. We were in the restroom between Splash and Thunder Mountains.
Thrill of my life but I just could not bring myself to speak to him (considering the circumstances).

Good Job.

Your remebered not to talk per the Man Code.

I think that's been our funniest moment. I wanted video from every angle like front, middle, back and sides. Also, once on the same ride, but a different time we rode the boat by ourselves.

Our grandson was able to steer one of the boats used for the Wishes fireworks. Also, I've been very lucky to get an Illuminations cruise each time we try on a trip. In October, it will be our eight one to date.

At the 15th celebration anniversary of MK we recieved a free park hopper ticket and a special visor that lights up. As you went through the turnstyle, you found out if you won something or not.

The first year Disney opened my family went. I was 9 and my sister 4, just as we boarded the sky ride to go to the other end of the MK my Mom got sick and Dad turned around with her and my brothers. My sister and I crossed the MK, which to us was huge, were lost for the entire day and ended up selling tickets in a booth (single ride tickets back then) until Dad could be located. Things have changed lots since then in MK but my sister and I always talk about it when we are there. Today with the communications system they would have us back together in 20 minutes. liammom :rotfl2:

FANTASTIC THREAD!!!

1. Threw such a hissy fit in Haunted Mansion when the room started stretching-they turned on the lights, made the room reverse directons and let me off (hey i was little and it was a brand new ride at Disney Land-i didnt know it was going to be THAT scary :scared1:

2. "Goofy Stole My Baby"-took ds (about 8 months at the time) and dd (then 3) to a "magic morning" at disneyland (early entry and breakfast with the characters). goofy took one look at my son, whisked him out of my arms and did not give him back for the duration of the meal. goofy also went and grabbed chip & dale who came over and spent the entire meal at our table (much to my daughter's delight but not the other parents who had kids who wanted to see them).

3. Managed to plan vacations (a year or more in advance) to Disneyland and WDW with the intent to AVOID major crowds and special events. Ended up at Disneyland on the last night of the encore extention of the "main street electric parade" (people camping out on main street from 8 in the morning for the 9 at night parade :earseek: ), and at Epcot the "kick off night" for the "millenium celebration" (international press wall to wall).
I guess to just prove this wasnt a "disney vacation fluke", we managed to go to alaska last year and hit the "lumber jack" show the night before the "world lumber jack championships" (ESPN and other press flooded the town :confused3 ).

4. got stuck on space mountain during a mechanical failure (it loses a whole lot when you see it with the lights turned on).

5. got stuck on it's a small world during a mechanical failure (you get to hear the same loop of music over and over and over and over  ).

In Epcot at honey I shrunk the audience it use to be a Michael Jackson 3D show. One year when we went we found out if you are stock holders in Kodac or employees there was a lounge on the side of the building. They said just knock on the door. We knock on the door and it opens we tell them we have stock in kodac and they take our names and invite us in. It was a beautiful lounge with comfy leather furniture and complimentary drinks and snacks. When the show was ready to start they took us in the back entrance to the theater.

(I'm sure there are other people who knew this as well)

I have a Mickey Head paper punch I use for scrapbooking. On our last trip, I punched about 50 Mickey heads and put them in various places through out parks. Space Ship earth had a few, Small Word and Buzz Lightyear, along with just anywhere in the park. Kind of my own little Hidden Mickey game!

OT for a second! Mickey Head paper punch? That sounds so cool! Where, where can I get one?

While this did not happen at WDW it did happen on the Disney Magic. Our 1 year old grandson was rocked to sleep by Sleeping Beauty while he was at Flounder's Reef. The CM told us that while Sleeping Beauty does visit it is rare that she would stop and rock someone. :cloud9:

I'm a paraplegic and my Fiance and I had reservations at King Stephans Hall in 1982. We were sent upstairs but when we got there the wait staff hadn't been informed about my wheelchair. They had a table ready for us on the lower level, down about 4 steps. We were ready to eat and really didn't want to go back downstairs to wait for an upper level table to open up so we told them we could just pop down the stairs.

It really wasn't that tough for my Fiance and I to go up and down a few stairs in the wheelchair with her behind me and me rolling the chair up and down(leverage and timing is the key). So we were explaining it to them and they were insisting that we should wait. This went on for a bit and we were ready to just go down the stairs. We had been in position for abit while talking to them and I turned to my Fiance and said "Lets just do it." She had been holding onto the back and the chair and we were ready.

Well just as I started down she had let go of the chair and turn to the castmember to talk :earseek: So I may be the only guy to take a wheelchair down the steps in King Stephans Hall by himself and nail the landing at the bottom perfectly!

I admit I didn't even realize she wasn't there till I turned around and saw her at the top of the stairs. :rotfl2:

I would have loved to see everyone else's faces when you did that!!

In April, it was just my wife and I. We were let into Main Street before opening after the CM "thought" we had a PS at Crystal Palace. ;-) We walked to the entrance to Liberty Square, and the rope was down! THe CM was taking pics of another family and we just walked by. We had Liberty Square and Frnotierland all to ourselves. We walked by a CM, who later asked if he could help us, I said "Thi, this is Disney World isn't it?" He said he was suprised we were not stopped at the ropes because this section of the park doesn't open until 9 am, but he let us go. Finally, right at the enterance to SM we were stopped and told the rides were not open, but becaue it was only 10 mins until opened we could walk around frontierland freely (but no rides) It was so great. When we heard the opening music, and fianlyl we say teh SM and BTMRR CM's leading the masses we quickly walked to the roped off beginnig of the lin to SM, we were the first on. FYI--if you are the first in line for the day at SM you get your own log, whne you get off they will walk you to the picture area and give you a FREE 8 x 10 of your drop, then the CM walked us back through the exit and immeditely back onto a log. It was amazing.

We hide a picture of my mom, who passed away in Sept. 2001. She loved Disney and it was my special place with her, so she "goes" with us every time we go.

Back in 1984, I had my butt pinched by one of the three little pigs while having my picture taken. The look on my face in the picture is priceless.

We also had a safari car all to ourselves (me, DH and 2 kids) at Ak after a morning and early afternoon of rain. It was very cool.

Forgot one --

One of the bears in AK stole my 7 month old DS and held him on his lap on a bench. I was busy photographing it and could hear people walking by wondering whose kid the bear had. Many did double takes making sure they were seeing what they thought they were seeing.

This may be the grossest reply! After surviving the first two days of our Christmas vacation at WDW last year (Christmas day was a wash-out and cold, the 26th was windy and FREEZING!), we headed over to Epcot the third day of our trip with the promise of warmer temps. Thank God we had layered with a t-shirt, sweatshirt, and jacket.

Cut to the pre-show area in Cranium Command. Had my coat and DS's in my arms with sweatshirts still on covering our t-shirts. The cartoon started and everything was fine until the woman directly in front of us turned around, put her hands over her mouth, and proceeded to vomit all over the coats in my arms and my DS's and our sweatshirts. Talk about GROSS!

I ran to ladies room--DH took DS to the men's room. Amazingly, the vomit only got on our coats and sweatshirts. After cleaning up and stripping down to t-shirts, the CM said he would call his supervisor over and see that we got new sweatshirts. The supervisor took us over to MouseTraders and allowed us to pick out anything we wanted. While we weren't trying to be greedy, two sweatshirts came to $80--which Disney picked up the tab for. DS's coat was washed and returned to the hotel and my coat even got dry cleaning before its trip to our hotel the next day.

Happy to say, the weather warmed up nicely the remainder of that day and the rest of the week and we didn't have any other unfortunate circumstances occur.

Sorry can't top that last post, what a shock that must have been.

All I can add is that I caught my 200 pound DH sleeping in a WDW double stroller.

This past December I took a nasty fall off the curb at MK right in front of the castle. Not that this is so unusual people fall off the curb daily. This wasn't my first time falling off this very same curb. Two years prior I took a nasty fall off the same curb.

I will be returning in 2 weeks and I staying clear of this curb, especially during MNSSHP. I expecting to have a hauntingly great night, but not to haunting. I've seen enough of the First Aid Station and that curb for a few years.
