What have you been listening to lately?

lil wayne and T.I. definitely have some serious lyrics crazy how they come up with the stuff they say some of my favorites are the two mentioned, Mos Def and Talib Kweli is fiya, Jay-z, BIG, Big L, Wu-tang basically any lyrical rapper, im not so much into like soulja boy(even tho turn your swag on is pretty ill) and three six mafia and stuff like that.

I pretty much love country music....im going to see a Keith Urban concert thursday night in St. Paul!

Architecture in Helsinki is pretty fantastic. Check out M83's album Saturdays=Youth if you havent already.

Listening to it right now on your recommendation. I didn't sleep last night and it's pretty relaxing so I'm probably going to fall asleep to it. That's not a diss, I'm just sayin it's calm stuff so far. I enjoy anything that has a good amount of keyboards in it. So far it kind of reminds me of Tears For Fears.

hey does anyone listen to rap and hip hop....thats what im into mostly and some of my friends listen to that hardcore stuff so its starting to grow on me.

Kanye West, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, mf doom, fort minor, styles of beyond, Pharoah Monche, Public Enemy, mc chris, Biggie, Del Tha Funky Homosapien...I'm a fan of good lyricism too (in most but not all of these choices is that apparent.)

The one hip hop record I've been playing non stop lately is not even by a particular artist. It's called Ocarina of Rhyme by Team Teamwork. It takes music from the N64 Zelda game and mashes it up with awesome rap and hip hop songs. It's both hilarious and awesome. Everyone I've played it for loves it.

I love this thread. I've discovered like 3 good new artists.

Any Get Up Kids or Blur fans?

I'm so excited about both of their reunions this year. In fact I'm going all the way to London for 2 of the Blur shows. Maybe more if I can get my hands on tickets.

My two favorite songs right now are

Seperate Ways by Journey and
Breaking The Law by Judas Priest
