do a split

PD - it is really not hard to do the splits. If you are good about stretching and you work on it, in 5-6 months you'll be able to do it no problem.

Play the piano.. I'm told I have "piano fingers" (very long and thin) and actually I've been told I have "piano toes" as well (also very long and thin - LOL).. I even have one of those huge Casio keyboards, but I could never get both hands to coordinate at the same time to play.. :(

I would love to learn sign language and to play the piano. The sign language may happen however, I think it is darn near impossible to teach someone like me with absolutely not one iota of musical ability to play. DH is a natural. When I say natural, I mean he can pick up an instrument and teach himself! The DCherubs, thankfully, all inherited his natural talents and love for music! ;) I on the other hand can't read a note, can't hold a note, and wouldn't know a flat from a sharp if my Disney life depended on it!!!!!

I have always wanted to learn to crochet. My mom taught my sister but she couldn't teach me because i am left handed and she was right handed. I tried watching her through a mirror but I couldn't catch on.
She taught me to knit but I just couldn't crochet. Someday I will take lessons.

For all of you who want to learn to make wedding cakes. Go to Michaels and ask about their classes. I took 4 weeks of lessons and then bought a few of the Wilton books and taught myself more. I made all my brothers (4) wedding cakes, and when I brought my oldest brother's cake to the reception hall they offered me a job doing all their wedding cakes. I did that for about 4 years until the 3rd child came along and I just couldn't co it anymore. I baked the cake on Thursday night, frosted it on Friday and delivered it and did the last minute decorating at the reception hall on Saturday. All my cakes were fresh. Peggie

I have always wished I could sing and dance. I can't do either to save my life. :(

I also would like to learn how to sew. I would love to be able to make throw pillows and curtains and things for my house. It is so much more original. Maybe I can find someone who can teach me. :)

knit - I don't know why, I want to make myself a cute scarf :)

decorate cakes - I've thought about taking that class at Michael's, just haven't done it.

have a garden - not a big one, just a few vegetables. I've always thought it would be fun to grow our own pumpkins for halloween.

I would like to learn Italian, especially since DH's family is from Italy. Then I would know if they were talking about me!

Ride a Harley. My husband has one and I love being on it. I really want to learn to ride and get my own. I have been thinking about taking lessons. He won't teach me on his bike, he's scared I'll tip it.

Skydive. But, I'm afraid of heights.:scared1:

You can always do a tandem jump! DH used to be a skydiver, and did some instructing/private functions.

There is also an indoor skydiving place near Universal. My DH went and watched that for a while.

I'd love to learn the piano, flute or violin.

I'd love to be a great dancer, but DH is well, all left feet.

I would love to learn to quilt, to paint, and to get really fluent in Spanish (I just get by now). Now if I could just find the time to do those things!

I've always wanted to learn American Sign Language. I know a little bit, but cannot communicate fluently with it.

i'd always wanted to learn cake decorating...i'm now in class II of the wilton classes at michael's! i finished the first round week before last...and in this class, we're learning lots and lots (and lots) of flowers!!

i can play the viola...i can poke around on the piano...i can sing a little...(music education was my major in college for a few years)

oh! i've always wanted to learn swing dancing! my brother in law used to teach swing dancing. he's taught me the basics, but i want to learn all of the fancy stuff!

I have wanted to take piano lessons. I used to play music by ear on the piano. While I play the violin and know how to read music, I just couldn't get the hang of the piano music, so I would wing it. My music teacher was pretty impressed, but I never went any further with it since I was already taking lessons for my violin....I may have to start those piano lessons soon!!
