Spotted this in a local paper. Mickey looks plain scary ;)

Wow - that's a Tesco Value Mickey  Really scary!

I think the kids would be having nightmares after meeting that, and all parents who allowed it should be brought up on a charge of child cruelty:crazy:

Maybe they've got hold of one of the original Disneyland Mickey's ;)

It's amazing how much the characters have changed:

:scared1: And we saw one super-scary Michael Mouse in Covent Garden yesterday - must be a plague!!!!!

The hack job done on Mickey and Minnie in this photo is the exactly why the Disney Company sues when people use their characters without licensing permission. Some people think it's extreme when Disney legal goes after a nursery school for painting Disney characters on their playground wall, but I don't blame them a bit. Those characters are all trademark protected for a good reason. The horrible representation of Mickey and Minnie we see here seems to me like the visual version of slander.

P.S. After taking a longer second look and thinking about the evolution of the Mickey park costume since opening day at Disneyland 55 years ago, I think these costumes could actually have been licensed 30 or 40 years ago.
