What has, historically, typically been your DVC length of stay, in NIGHTS, per trip?

varie alot - some trips one night - once 7 nights - put pretty cheap with my points - so generally 5 nights Sun-thur (leaving on fri) - I think that is what most DVCers do - at present time.

with the price of gas going up - may start to stay longer - but even then might find cheaper weekends. even with WDW charging extra for weekends - the rest of the area is in trouble - so they are lowering their prices. Or giving you something extra - like a gas card.

We always seem to go Sun-Sat. The 6 night trip is about all DH can get off at one time

Loved that I could go multiple choice on this one--we always do a 2 week "big summer trip" and I usually try to sneak in one or two 5 day mini vacations somewhere in between.

The past two years when we stayed two-weeks we split it between five nights at two resorts and a weekend at vero in between. More usually we have 5-6 night trips and stay at one resort. We've never stayed more than 9 nights at one resort. We have been having 4 or 5 trips a year, one or two for two weeks the others for one.

Now that I live in CA, our stays are always 7 nights: Saturday - Saturday. Nowadays, we try to red-eye out on Friday night, so the kids are more on a "schedule". That gives us Sunday to recoup, get the dogs from the kennel, etc. When I lived in Missouri, we did more 8 night and 4 night trips. Much easier to recoup when you don't have kids.

We only live about an hour and a half away. So we visit often.

Two or three times per year we go from Sunday to Tuesday. Once or twice a year we go from Sunday to Friday.

We also make about 10 day trips per year, but no points are needed for those.

Since joining DVC, we've yet to use points on a Friday or Saturday and I hope to keep it that way!
