What has happened to California's Great America now?

I loved Great America. I haven't gone back in about 20 years. My grandparents had a season pass, and took us every year. We loved the chicken dinner and the Triple Wheel.

Triple wheel was great! When I worked there as a teenager in rides, triple wheel and the sky buckets were the most challenging ride tests to take!

We’ve enjoyed their seasonal decorations/activities for Halloween and the holidays. It was packed during October weekends at the trick or treat booths. Lots of cute photo ops, and kids could decorate mini pumpkins for free. The chicken dinner is still a great value on the meal plan.

My mom saw the story of California's Great America's closure on the news and what I also think caused California's Great America to go downhill was raising prices on everything and the parking became more expensive when you would bring a family. Plus "this is a true fact and not false information by the way" They always had a habit of closing California's Great America whenever a rain storm was gonna happen and even though there would be no rain they would keep the park closed for no reason and people couldn't get their tickets refunded on the day they were supposed to go. And in my eyes this wasn't a way to run an amusement park. But I think had Cedar Fair hadn't bought California's Great America and just let Paramount keep Great America it would've been better and I can guarantee if Paramount still owned Great America today they most likely would name it Paramount+ Great America in honor of Paramount's streaming service. But the losses of great shows and the spectacular ice shows hurt California's Great America's business
