Curious to hear what has been the lowest Aeroplan point redemption you've seen for flights to/from YYZ and MCO. I'm looking at flights in Feb 2025 . Thanks in advance

I got a unicorn-level redemption of lie-flat seats for 12500 points each way…for last week of November 2023 into first week of December. Not sure I’ll ever be able to snag that again!

Yowza that's a good price. I'm looking at a 10K redemption one way for 3rd week of Feb and thought that was pretty good.

is there a general timeline prior to travel to look for the best Aeroplan rates? Or is it the further ahead it is, the lower the points?

AP is dynamic, so points can fluctuate up and down. Usually, for the lowest points you want to book either as far ahead as possible, or with 30 days, but of course that's a much bigger gamble.

In September there were flights in late November-early December for 4.9K and 5.1K one way. I would say the average is more around 6-8k for a low fare...with that leaning more to the 8k side. I look at flights to MCO regularly, my DD is a CM so we take advantage of those perks as often as possible.

Wow. Were those for less desirable times leaving eally early or really late?

Good info. I won’t say how many points I redeemed for our March break trip lol. 10k would have been a steal

Air Canada is making a ton of money right now. The days of low aeroplan flights to Florida are gone at least for the time being. Next October flights are way more than they used to be
