What happens with the phone?

Its been a while since Ive been to Pleasure Island but I remember being at the Comedy Warehouse and something going on with the phone on the wall. Whoever sits in the aisle with the phone on the end gets called during the show usually right? What happens then? Thats where I go blank and cant remember. If anyone knows Id appreciate a shout back.

it's basicaly just improve they talk to you and buid on what you say. It can't be said what they do, because they don't always do it, and when they do it varries from night to night.
