Bearing in mind the uncertain weather we have in Europe, how are folk notified if a parade is not going to go ahead because of bad weather. Obviously if it's pouring down they won't expect the performers to 'do their stuff' but do they make announcements or what?

I seem to recall they do make a announcement - I don't think they just leave people standing there and wondering. :umbrella: :umbrella: :umbrella: :umbrella:

It was pouring for the first parade we saw when we were there, We did wonder if they cancel them in bad weather.

If it just rains a little bit (or snows, in winter time), they have the parade, but in "speed" mode (and no stops)

They have never cancelled a parade when I was there. They did cancel Belle's Christmas show, and made announcements.

During heavy rain storms we have heard announced delays in the parade or as Sandra says a very "quick" parade :)

Normally they are postponed at first, for up to 30 minutes.

If there is no let-up in the weather within those 30 minutes they will play an announcement saying "We apologise but due to inclement weather, this performance has been cancelled"

But the cancelling of the parade is very rare. Even in quite heavy rain the parades go ahead.

I thought there must be some kind of warning. Obviously I'm hoping that it all goes ahead but I wondered how they notified guests.
