What happens when a party of three becomes a party of two?

My Mom, for reasons yet unknown to us decided to NOT board her plane to Maui this morning. My Dad flew without her. There are all sorts of questions that arise from this, but the only way it relates to Disneyworld is that I was going to go with the two of them this December, and now I'm scared of what will happen if she does the same thing again. Would all of our reservations become null and void? Would we have to cancel our Candlelight Processional package or would we be given the option of paying for her meal and continuing on if we chose?

:hug:i have no advice or info but ...wow! hope everything turns out ok.

For most of your resturant ADRs, the loss of one person will not make them null. Last trip one member of our party couldn't join us, so we just told the host or hostess that there was only three of us (instead of 4). There were no problems associated with this.

With regards to the pre-paid meals, if you know 24-hours in advance you could try to get a refund for her seat. If not, I think the rules state that you could be charged if you are a no show, but it seems like you aren't going to be an entire no show, so you should still be able make use of your reservation. If you're willing to absorb the cost of her seat, then I would think you should still be allowed to use the rest of your reservation.

That is good to hear - we will just keep them; go and hope for the best!

Last yr. we had ADR for 3 and one night my sister wasn't up to going out so we were a party of 3, no problem. I don't know about the Calf. Grill because you have to give them a CC#. If the number changes, do you have to pay for the absent party?
