What happens to RIV resale points when they're deposited into Interval international?

Just a random question, no intention of actually depositing any of my resale points in, but after seeing that crazy high point listing for one it made me think of the question in the title. I'm in a couple II-related FB groups and often see people posting availability of SSR, OKW, and sometimes AKL rooms available for people to book through Interval International. But never see any for Riviera. I know that the overall amount of RIV resale points is small to begin with and thus the amount of those kinds of points even being deposited is probably slim to none. But if some RIV resale points were to be deposited in, would a RIV room be available for booking for Interval International? Or do they put up another SSR, OKW, AKL room instead? I guess what I'm asking is if the resale restrictions even extend when the points are deposited in II.

When resale RIV points are deposited into II, they go in as generic system points, not Riviera specific points. II can't tell the difference.

Therefore, when DVC releases rooms to II, they can be at any property of their choosing-- and most commonly the 3 you mentioned.

And also note that DVC itself,in listing member benefits excluded for resale purchasers, lists all member benefits as being excluded to the resale member except one -- a resale purchaser can use the "World Collection - Vacation Exchange," which is trade-outs to II: https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/dvc-direct-vs-resale

And once the member does the trade-out to II, the applicable points become points controlled by DVC entities, and, as provided in the POS, any restricted resale points transferred by an owner to any DVC entity can be used by that entity without application of any resale restrictions.

Which is exactly what they do, most of the time. There’s an ongoing thread on TUG where TUG members report DVC sightings in II. Most of the time it’s 1BR at SSR or OKW, but AKV and even BWV and other resorts pop up from time to time, unpredictably. And I think 2BR have appeared although rarely.
