You make an ADR for 6 people and only 3 show up for the dinner? Will they let you keep the table?

My sister is supposed to be meeting up with us for dinner with her kids, but what is they dont make it for some reason?

A little different scenerio, but I had ressies for 3 and ended up being just me and dd. They never said anything, I just said the other person couldn't come. I am sure they would seat you with no problem.

We had the same thing. All our ADRs were made for 4 people. Friends cousin lives in the area and was going to be joining us one of the days. But that far in advance we didn't know which one would work with his schedule so we made all our ADRs for 4. When we showed up, we just explained that the other in our party couldn't make it and there would only be 3. Nothing was said to us or anything. I dont see why they wouldn't seat you with less people than you had originally said. It would be a different story if you made it for 3 and showed up with 6. I dont think there would be a problem.

I have never had any problem either adding or subtracting people on ADRs. When needing to add people you may have to wait a few extra minutes for a table (for example if you had adrs for 4 and 5 showed up- they may need to seat you at a different type table). I think it may actually be easier for them if less show up.
If you know ahead of time that you will have a different number from what you have already set, you can always call disney dining and just let them know about the change.

Subtracting people from your ADR is much easier than adding people. I would think that the CM's are quite used to people changing their numbers when they show up.
