IF there is a "next one" that comes in time for you to get to the airport for your flight you may or may not be able to ride it. To the first point, DME buses only pick up from the resorts when there are guests who are scheduled to ride. If there's no one else from your resort scheduled 30 minutes after you there will be no bus. Second, if there is a bus all of the seats on the bus may be accounted for by guests who are scheduled on that bus and you likely will not be allowed to ride.
So, please be at the bus pick-up point 10-15 minutes before your scheduled time if you want to ride. If you miss the bus on which you were scheduled, expect that you will have to take (and pay for) a cab to the airport.
If you miss the ME bus, you are on your own. They MAY be able to accommodate you but they are under no obligation to do so. You'd probably end up paying for a cab.
Please don't count on the next bus being timely for your flight, or having extra seats. The last time we were there (mid December 2010) we were the last resort being picked up. The driver had a total of 6 seats available, with about 20 of us waiting! We got on, but apparently they had to call another bus for the rest. In my experience, the bus has always been either full or nearly full, at least for the return trip to the airport.
We tried to get on the an earlier bus but they were already overbooked and were calling for a backup for the next resort they were supposed to pick up at.....they didnt let us on.
You do not want to see or know or experience what happens.
If you leave your resort that day, then shoot to be back one hour before your Magical Express bus time. Allow even more time if you have carryons to get back from the bellhop.
Being in the resort's airline baggage check-in line (at the "RAC" desk) does not count as being punctual for your DME bus. If you are in that line and it is 15 minutes before bus time, drag yourself and your bags out of that line and over to the DME bus platform.
I'll, slightly, disagree with the PP. It's the end of the world if you miss your DME bus. There will either be taxis waiting at the resort or the resort can get a taxi almost immediately.
You just have to make sure the cost of the taxi is justified by whatever you're doing that causes you to be late.

true but since your ME time is typically 3 hours to flight time, it shouldn't be a huge problem to wait 15 - 20 minutes...unless you're really running late
