What happens if there are different rates during your stay?

Does Disney take into account the different rates? I was thinking of staying for 4 days, but for two of those days it is over the weekend. What rate do they charge you? Does anyone have experience with this?

Currently DLP charges you the rate from the start of your holiday. So makes sense if possible to begin mid-week for a better rate
