What happens if only half my party shows up for a meal?

We might have my DS and DD join us for a couple of meals but I won't know for sure until the last minute and I want to make ADR's however, in the case they cannot, what will the restaurant do if I only show up with 2 and not 4 people? These aren't on the list and don't require a credit card guarantee. Will they charge me for the guests who don't show? The places in question are 50's Prime Time and Le Chefs de France for lunch and Rose & Crown for dinner. I already informed them I wouldn't be able to get them added to my California Grill dinner reservations. But really what are the chances that I could add 2 more to that one as well? So I guess this is a two part question.

It is better to make the reservations for the maximum number of people who might be dining. It is much easier to show up at the restaurant with fewer people, than to try and add people at the last minute.

The restaurants that don't have a credit card guarantee aren't going to charge you if your son and daughter aren't there.

With regard to CG: once you know they're coming you could try adding them to your reservation. You could also try for a second res for 2 people at about the same time and ask to be seated together.

Thank You for the help.

I was able to go ahead and change all my dining reservations except California Grill to seat four.
