I wish I could say I'm the person that's like "I slept until after 6am!" like it's sleeping in. I can't.
Nice pictures! It's getting me excited for hopefully staying there in May. I have to wait one more month to book through DVC.
I have one of those bodies that gets up at the same time every single day, whether it is a weekday, weekend, holiday or vacation. Unfortunately, that time is usually between 4:30 and 5:30 am, although the past couple of weeks it has been closer to 4:00.
I really hope you get to stay at the resort in May!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

The resort is so peaceful and pretty in the morning. As long as I am awake, I might as well roam!

Dee, I like that time of the morning there at the YC, it is really nice and quiet. You would have seen DW and me out in that lobby area for sure as 6:00-6:30am is usually the time we are out of the room. Thanks for the new pictures. Just gets me all the more pumped up for our upcoming trip.

If you were there, I would have looked for you! I really have not spent much time in the YC lobby but it is a great area. I loved the monkey lamp. So whimsical and representative of a treasure a ship captain may have brought back from foreign travels.

What a lovely morning stroll! We didn't have much time to explore the two resorts when we walked over one afternoon but from what I did see, the grounds and buildings are quite lovely.
I know you appreciate the just walking around the resort you are staying at and taking in all the atmosphere and details.
At first I expected to see absolutely no people in the photos at all since I figured it was still pretty early. Then I realized the main one with people was from the previous day, lol.
There is something really cool about that photo with all the chairs. All ready to accept wet people for the day ahead.
It was pretty deserted, but there were a couple of times I had to wait to take a picture. Like the one through the porthole- people were exiting and heading toward the lake so I had to wait them out and then snap quickly because more people where coming into the shot.
That picture with the chairs did come out pretty well, and yes, soon they would be filled with bodies, or more likely towels from the chair piggies reserving their seats for later in the day.
There is some of that!
