what happened to the magic?

My DS got one of those safari looking hats at AK, the kind with pins on them. Of course, we bought more pins and more pins and more pins.

His hat was completely filled with pins, as was his lanyard. That hat must've weighed 20 pounds. He just couldn't continue wearing it, because of the weight and the fact that the locks were poking him in the head. So he switched to his Buzz Lightyear baseball cap after a couple of days.

And my other DS3, he got a stitch hat.

I proudly wear my crown and my disney baseball hats. I wear my hats when I am home also.

I have the pirate mickey hat, 2007 year of a million dreams ears, gold anniversery ears, and tokyo disney ears my friend sent me.

I mostly wear my yoamd and pirate ears at disney. i loev having little kids stare at me. their so cute

I didn't mean people on the DIS. it is obvious us here have OCDD. [OBSESSIVE compulsive disney disorder]

I ment when you look at crowds you don't see many wearing the ears and hats as much as they have in the past years. There used to be all these kids and adults and such wearing the black ears with mickey mouse on the front.
Well, I see that when I go. I am just like,

Honey, just feel sorry for them, and continue to wear your ears proudly. I'm (ahem, cough, cough) ...years old and I have not one but two sets of ears that light up; really, really kool. People everywhere in the parks always stop me and ask me where I got them. I prefer to think that they're wishing they remembered to wear theirs, or they haven't had time yet to get some. Oh, yeah, I also have a pair of golden 50th anniversary ears from Disneyland! The magic is still there. It never dies--because WE keep it going
