I remember awhile back the addition of a crepe cart in DTD..and I was looking forward to trying one, but NOPE not there..was that just a seasonal thing or something? Also..I thought I had read Compass was closing? anyone remember this? but thre is is, a pleasent as ever.
:confused3

The crepes were there last week when we were there... my DD and I were in Downtown Disney on Wed., Sept. 22. We didn't have any, but they sure smelled fantastic!

We were there last Wed also and saw the crepes at the cart by World of Disney. They looked good, but we didn't have any.

We also saw the crepe cart there last week (tuesday) but as much as I would love to try a crepe, they just don't seem appetizing to me at that cart. It's really hard to spot the crepe cart because, as far as I can tell, there's no real signage. There's just a couple of 8.5x11 sheets of paper with smallish type which I think is kind of odd for a place at DTD and makes it seem unprofessional. I think because the cart is easy to miss, no one goes there and then I wonder if the food is fresh if no one is buying them. In fact, it's hard to even see if there's anyone working there as you walk by. That's my take on the crepe cart but if anyone has tried the crepes I would love to hear a review!

As for Compass, I also remember someone saying it was closing, but never heard any confirmation and it never happened, so chalk it up as a false rumor? :teacher:

Now that you say this...unless I am mixing things up, it seems to me that the sign on the cart said Italian sorbet or something like that, which is why we went over to it, and then saw it also had the crepes?

Someone correct me if I am wrong.....

Where in DTD!?!?!

Argh, I have no recollection as this was the second time we wandered to DTD in 6 years. :( It was on the right hand side, I THINK it might have been fairly close to the fruitsmoothie place. I KNOW it was on the right hand side and you could SMELL the syrup a LOT as soon as you first got to DTD.

Hope you find your crepes. There were people standing around the cart, looked like they were ordering.

well DANG! I looked around alot and never saw it..even across from Disney Store..I saw the popcorn one, etc...the merchandise ones that I ignore, but no crepes.SHOOOOTTTTT

It is still there. It is the second cart closest to the parks just outside the first entrance to the World of Disney store. However, it opens late (after 11:00am) and tends to close in the early evening.

It has no signs, just small 8-1/2 x 11" price lists. I found it to be OK in quality and taste. (Not wonderful but not bad.)

At the other end of the World of Disney is also a new small Italian Ice cart that opened a few weeks ago.
