What happened to most of the Mickey Statues in Boston?

I was all excited to go into Boston specifically to see the Mickey's Statues at Fanuiel Hall. So we took a ride in this past Saturday. When we got in, there were none to be found. I asked a half dozen people working in the area (including the information booth worker) and no one had any idea. I'm guessing that it is because of maybe vandelism?? At least when we went over to the Aquarium, they had 3 of the statues displayed. I was really disappointed and thought that there should have been some kind of explanation. I know that the statues are suppose to be displayed until sometime in July. Has anyone heard anything about this?

I heard that they were in the process of moving them all over near the Aquarium because there will be some sort of event. I forget what it is but it was on the aquarium map we got when we went 2 weeks ago.

I'd ask at the Aquarium.

On the 13th we only found about 4 in Quincy Market area. There were 3 or 4 over by the Aquarium. There were a lot that had to be taken in to be repaired. Seems the people in Boston can't behave and damaged them.
