What goes in where??

HI all having major confusions and memory block about what you pack in the suitcase and what goes in hand luggage thought you guys could help me once again
Tablets -vitamins etc in hand luggage?
Two way radios bought in America a couple of years ago in case or hand luggage?
Aerosols hairspray deodorant etc?

Help I need an idiots guide to packing!!!!!

This site is useful for knowing WHAT you can pack when travelling to the US and it might also tell you somewhere WHERE you're suppose to pack it!!
