What gives with pin # 19, 22 & 23??

I've read several posts requesting these three pins because their store was short. Ours was, too. Taunton, MA only received about 12 of each. We were, again, number 7 & 8 in line and even with the limit of two per person, didn't get these. What's up?? Anyone in the know know what Disney is doing with the actual number of pins? Are they limited in number or are we being teased and they're creating a demand?

I am curious too. Last week it was the Rocketeer. (12 per store here)
Now this week it was SB Castle. (Only five at one store here.)
And the TDS in Des Moines had plenty of all yesterday @6:30. Obviously very few collectors there.
Who in the heck chooses which store gets what?

My grandaughter was at the Attleboro store yesterday, for their Grand Re-opening. They have undergone rehab but stayed open during it. She and her sister and her grandfather, on her Mom's side, bought six #1 pins that were put out on the rack, not behind the counter. Explain that one!

It must be a Gold Store. Those stores were going to receive more, but no one knew when. Neither of the stores here are gold stores.

My Houston DS was short #19, #20, #22 and #23.

we only got 19 and 22 and the professor pin....how about that....only 3 and they had boxes full of them.

If your store only received the pins that many others were missing, then Disney needs to doublecheck their Quality Control services. Someone, somewhere is either screwing up royally or having fun at the expense of those who stand in line for several hours on Saturday morning. This is supposed to be a fun hobby and it is, don't get me wrong, but my DH is not happy driving all over Massachusetts looking for three pins. This is getting old, fast.
