What form of ground transport if staying until Sunday?

We are planning on arriving into Orlando via plane on Friday evening. We then want to go to Cape C that night. Upon return from the 7 day cruise we want to check into a hotel and go to the Kennedy Space Center. We will fly out on Sunday. How should we do the transportation? We don't want to rent a car.

MCO >>> Cape Hotel on Friday
Cape Hotel >>> Cruise Ship on Sat Morning
Cruise Ship >>> Cape Hotel on next Saturday
Cape Hotel >>> Kennedy Space Center and back on Saturday
Cape Hotel >>> MCO on Sunday

Which hotel are you staying in the Cape area? Only because the only hotel in the Cape Canaveral area to offer shuttle service to the port is the Radisson (which is attached to the Avis location) My advise would be to :

Land in MCO and pick up a rental car from Avis.
Drive to your hotel and enjoy the day. On cruise day drop your car off at Avis location near the Port (they open by 9:00) and take their transfer to the ship.

On the return, take shuttle from ship to Avis, pick up car, do what you want during the day (you can keep luggage in car). Keep car until Sunday when you drop it back off on Sunday at the airport.

I bet you will find it much cheaper than taking transfers. Check out www.mousesavers.com and look for the AVIS GROUP CODE. You can find it under ground transportation or rental cars on the site. We always use that code and enter it on the www.avis.com website when we make our ressies.

Check out the Radisson at Cape Canaveral. It is a very nice hotel with a great tropical pool area. It is very convenient especially with the Avis rental location attached and the free shuttle service to the ship.

Right now the Radisson is offer some "fall" discount rates starting at $59.00 per night. You seem to be able to use this discount even over the summer.

Check out www.Radisson.com and look for the Cape Canaveral Radisson on Astronaut Blvd. Put in the word Fall in the promotion code space and the discounted price will come up.
