We are headed to WDW next week for a very short trip and will only be spending one day in Epcot. We have a lunch reservation at Biergarten but for dinner I want to snack around the world.

I don't eat seafood, and I'm not a big fan of hot and spicy, but anything outside of that goes. Has anyone tried any real standouts that they would recommend not missing?

The menus have so many things that look delicious but I'm trying to narrow down my options before I go.

TIA!

Off the top of my head, my favorite stuff was:

- The jerk-spice grouper with mango salsa (there's a chicken version since you don't eat seafood) from La Isla Fresca
- The pineapple wine from Pineapple Promenade (and I generally don't care for wine or alcohol in general)
- The key lime wine from Florida Fresh (see above note)
- The quesadilla from Jardin de Fiestas
- The chicken kebab and falafel pocket from Taste of Marrakesh
- The candied strawberries from Lotus House
- The Frushi from Hanami
- The lemon scone from Cider House
- The macaron from Fleur de Lys
- The chocolate cake with caramel from The Smokehouse

I did NOT enjoy the chicken fricassee from the booth in Germany (forgot the name) - it was like cream of chicken soup and canned veggies poured over Uncle Ben's rice. Also wasn't a fan of either the chicken or the pasta from Primavera Kitchen - neither dish was hot enough, nor was it anything special, which was disappointing.

Some of my favorite things were seafood, which doesn't help you too much, but I'll mention them anyway in case it helps someone else. I really liked the jerk grouper with salsa at Isla Fresca. You can get chicken instead of grouper, and the chicken looked good, too. I also liked the shrimp and grits at the Florida pavilion, shrimp tacos at Jardin de Fiestas, the beef brisket hash with cheddar fondue at the Smokehouse, the Rose slush in France, and the pineapple float with coconut rum at the pineapple pavilion.

I'm looking forward to this as well. The reviews I've seen have been generally positive across the board. There are some good reviews on YouTube, including the Dis Unplugged crew at an F&G preview event. Josh has a comprehensive set of reviews of all the menus in three parts over at easywdw.com.
