What food/drinks can you bring in the parks with you?

Can we bring water and snacks? We're going the 1st week of June and I know it will be hot, so I'm hoping we can bring water with us, to cut down on the number of drinks we have to buy.

We're also having 6 children with us (15 people total), so I was wondering if we can bring snacks for them.

you can bring a small soft sided cooler (no wheels,...no hard coolers) you can either carry it with you (my suggestion, in a stroller) or rent a locker...

I always freeze water the night before and make pb sandwiches for snacks the next day..... With that many people...it helps cut down the $ cost!!!

So you are allowed to bring your own food? I thought they searched bags and was told you are not supposed to bring anything in.

They do search your bags as you enter, but not for food contraban. For dangerous things like bombs, drugs, guns, or knives.

We are Florida Residents and go ALL the time. We take water, snacks, sandwiches, chips, chocolate, baby food, formula etc.

As long as you carry it in a soft sided cooler with no wheels. No styrofoam coolers or anything like that. It will get in just fine. They check my baby bag all the time. You can even take it in plastic bags with no cooler if you don't want to mess with a cooler.

I pre-pack ziploc baggies of snacks for each day. That way I am not doing it while on vacation and every morning I just grab a different bag of pre packed snacks.

I also carry in simple medicines in my food bag. Do you know how much a Tylenol is in the world? WHEW!

You cannot bring alcohol into the parks either. Although, I suspect some people might bring clear alcohol in water bottles.

We plan on doing the same thing. Bringing in water bottles and pb&j sandwiches. Probably some other little snacks for the kids too.

since you have such a large group, you can "cheat" by splitting into groups or 2 or three, and each bring in a small cooler, then put them all in a stroller if you have them or take turns carrying them.

same as PP....water bottles, pbj sandwiches, pretzels and granola bars...Saves time and money...
