Hi - We have friends headed to WDW for the 1st time ever! They want to stay at the WL. What are some of the requests they should ask for when booking reservations? It will be 2 adults and 2 kids - one 5 the other 7. They'll be there this October for a week. The WL thread is a bit daunting to sort through so I'll take whatever suggestions you've got! :) Thanks a bunch!

If you have a woods/lodge view, request North Side with a view of the Magic Kingdom - most likely 5th or 6th floor.

We had room 6034 with a great view of the Castle and the MK fireworks. 6th floor is a smoking floor, but our room was fine - we had no problems.

Tell them to ask at Check-In if they could be the Flag Family!!

On the first page of The New (Part 4) WL FAQ Thread... I have a post (second from the tpo) that list most of the activities and fun things to do while visiting the Lodge, so be sure to read that. The first post by AspiringCindy, will give you a detailed room lay-outs,...(from some of the Woods View rooms on the north side of the Lodge you can view Wishes Fireworks and the Castle)...the third post originally posted by FloridaCat has loades of other cool information...after that the general questions start and you can just post your question and someone will get back to you with the information you need.

Hope your friends trip is Magical.
