What "excuse" have you used to go to WDW?

hi
an ap, also easyclicktravel having a quality inn in orlando at $20 at the time!!

I have two excuses for this upcoming trip...

1. It rained one day when we were there in August and my daughter missed out on Fantasyland.

2. We're having another baby in June and so I want to give my daughter on last hurrah before her little world is rocked by the arrival of a sibling.

I already have my excuse for the next trip, and have not taken this one yet. DGD will NEED ( she never WANTS anything.....she just NEEDS certain things) to go to the Princess Tea at the GF. This year we felt it might be overkill for a 4 year old, but when she is 5........ How can her Pa deny his beloved Princess?

Keep in mind, I live about 45 minutes away from WDW, AND we stayed for four days earlier this month. We (DD and I) went today for a few hours because she didn't get to ride Pooh and I had a present to buy for my best friend at the Grand Floridian.

What's funny is we weren't able to ride Pooh because she was having a temper tantrum and I had to take her out of line. Guess I can use that excuse again! :rotfl:

My excuse for planning a 2007 trip ( not a 2006 trip cause we are expecting a baby), is because it rained on and off for a few days of our September trip, and we need make up days :teeth: .

:earsgirl: :earsboy: 2006 our 20th wedding anniversary!!
Us, too. 25 October & we're WDW headed! :cool1:
but seriously, EE opening & have to use those APs
Karen's planing another DISmeet 8 Dec, so we'll have to go, APs or no~
should take Dad & his wife( :scared1: ), but count DH out on that trip! :rotfl2:

This is the one I got DH with (and he was every so happy to oblige). Our oldest DD (4 1/2) starts Kindergarten next Fall and this January would be our last chance to get to WDW during Value season for a long time since I'm guessing we won't get the kids outta school very often (unless I come up with another excuse along the way). Excuse #2 for the same trip is that we haven't taken a trip to WDW with JUST DH, me and the girls yet and we thought that would be fun.

Last year I actually ran the marathon. 26.2 miles as an excuse to get back to WDW! This year is a little easier...going back to Disney in two weeks to celebrate my husband's return home from Iraq!

In November, 2001, I planned a trip to wDW with 16 days notice.

DH's excuse was that we were "Stimulating the Economy" after 9/11.

I used the "I'm turning 40 and want to go to Disney" excuse too!!! And it worked!! Great minds think alike! :cool1: :cheer2: :cool1:

We had a wedding to go to in October in South Carolina. We drove from N.Y., so I said to my DH, sheesh we might as well just make a vacation out of it and drive to Disney after the wedding, after all it's only another 8 hour drive. He went for it!! And we had a great time! :sunny:

We were just there in May 2005. In July 2005 I signed up to do the 1/2 marathon this Jan. So it makes me get healthy. How could anyone argue with that logic? I also want to go back May 2006 for Minnie Marathon weekend.

Well, I need to earn CME, and I have an annual pass, and there are always courses at WDW. While I am at the meetings, my family won't be bored.
This will be my trip in August if my hospital approves the course. (Staying at GF, where I wouldn't if the rate wasn't discounted and the hospital wasn't paying).
