What exactly happens at the member party for Bay Lake Towers?

I attended a party last Tuesday. There are some trivia type questions on a screen as you enter. There is a singing group that comes in, along with a fun MC. They do some questions for the audience about their vacation preferences, which we answered on a little device we were given. A bit of a sales pitch, but well done. Everyone got "goodies", I won't spoil it, but they were nice. One member got a BIG prize.

After that, there was a dance party, with characters and a DJ. Finger sandwiches and fruit were served, along with ice cream and drinks. Then, they called you by number for a tour of BLT. We got to see the Grand Villa, as well as the members lounge and fireworks viewing area.

Our guide was not at all pushy. When we finished the tour, she said if anyone wanted to stay and learn more about adding on, to stay in the lounge and you would be given one on one time. No one in our group did, so she just escorted us back downstairs.

I had read that someone else was given fastpasses, but that offer wasn't made to our group. It was my last day, and I wasn't going back in to the parks, so it didn't matter to me.

I enjoyed the time there. It was fun to be with other members.

We attended Wednesday night. You got VIP fastpasses if you stayed for one-on-one questions with the guides. Still not pushy at all, even at that point. We happened to get our actual guide, and he just gave us the charts for BLT and AKV (our home resort), told us that the offer would be good for 3 days, and answered a few questions. We were tempted, but did not add-on. The VIP fastpasses were given to each of the people in our party and were good for 3 "instantaneous" (ie. printed with the current time when you used them) fastpass tickets, as long as the fastpass machines were not out of tickets for the day. We saved ours until the 4th (yes, we just got home an hour or so ago!), figuring rightly that the parks would be extremely busy and the fastpasses worth their weight in gold.
