What exactly are the famed zebra domes????

I keep hearing about them at AKL, but what are they???? Please say nothing with coconut

Zebra domes are essentially a mousse like snack/dessert. They are very yummy and I don't think have coconut.

Do they have a coffee flavor?? Hoping it mostly chocolate since we'll be eating there in June.

I'm not much of a coffee in ANYTHING fan, and while these do have just a hint of that coffeeish flavor, it doesn't affect their amazing taste in any negative way for me. Love 'em.

These are available at Boma, of course, but some folks don't realize they're available at The Mara, too, just in case you're interested. (at least they were last year.)

I hate any coffee flavor and definitely detected it. I also don't like liquor flavor in my desserts.

We saw them a Mara in February. It was a rough trip for us (some trip changing problems) so I was never able to make it down and purchase. I believe the small pack was a Snack Credit, but please don't hold me to it, it really was a rough trip.

I ordered a speciality cake for Sanaa and was able to get one that is a Cake-sized zebra dome! Can't wait!
