What ever happen to the live cameras ???

Since this is my first year of missing the Marathon I thought I would pull up the live cameras from around the different parks. Well I cant find them any more. Only one I found was from the top of Swan and Dolphin facing Boardwalk.

There use to be one on top of Contemporary and Main St from what I remember.

I remember th elive cam from main street, used to be the way to get our Disney fix!

The live cameras stopped after September 2001. I do not remember the reason, may have been because of the attacks and security.

I know I have seen the one from on top of Contemporary later part of last year.

They actually stopped before 9/11. I think it was May 2001. They still had the website up for a long time after but the picture was still dated May (picture didn't change). Everyone thinks 9/11 brought the economy down but it was actually going downhill before then. I heard Disney laid off some employees earlier that year, including some tech people, which brought the website down.
