What Does Your Tag Mean?

The TF has certainly been very busy tonight! Looking at some of the new tags, there's quite a few that I would have no clue what the origin was if I hadn't read the thread. It got me to thinking about all those tags out there that are a bit of a mystery.

So...

What does your tag mean/where did it come from?

Well, mine is pretty self-explanatory. I was telling a story one time about a fight my twins had when they were 2...they were both "claiming" the toot and getting mad when the other one insisted it was theirs, lol!

My tag isn't from the TF, but...

Someone said they were doing a trip to WDW w/o their children. She wanted to suprise her DH with something fun to do while they were there. Many people suggested romantic things. I came along & suggested a Segway Tour. Someone else made a joke that they could do a combination of the two. Hence, the "Naked Segway Tour" was born!

Don't have a tagfairy tag, probably won't get one anytime soon. I gave myself a richly deserved tag (If you weren't on the "eated" thread, you won't understand )

Mine is pretty self explanatory too. Someone had started a thread about dropping cell phones in the toilet. And I have never dropped my phone, but have dropped my keys a couple times. And then had to lysol the crap out of them!

Mine came from a thread about what your dream tag would be. I mentioned how I used to be a performer and performed in the Share a Dream Come True Parade and in the Disney Dreams Come True Parade. In fact, I was in the last SADCT and the opening day of DDCT. It is one of my best entertainment memories. Well, that is the quote on the front of the float I helped with. It is very special to me and I just about died when I saw the TF gave me the tag.

My top tag came from the Daily Riddle thread. Some flittering little fairy edited a post I made to include a sparkly eye. My response was...HOLY CARP! And thus I got a carp.

My second tag was from the Peep Watch thread in response to a picture Evil Genius posted.

My third also came from the Daily Riddle. It used to read "Ok fess up...who farted and killed the riddle" I guess someone was offended by the fart reference and it got changed. I miss my fart tag.

LOL!! I couldn't pull myself away from a thread even though I was at work so that's where "I would post again, but I'm at work" came from. My patients were still well cared for that night....in between postings!! The addiction sometimes is just too much to handle.....I love to DIS!!

My tag was pulled from a thread about grilling. I had bought some corn-on-the-cobb to grill, and had mentioned where I bought it. That day there had also been an anti Wal-Mart thread, so I jokingly called Wal-Mart "The Root of All Evil".

I need to start thinking of pithy things to say - I was on a thread and a rumor started that the tag fairy was amongst us...I thought I needed to think of something "tag worthy". I guess "pithy" is what did it.....

It costs him money every time I watch! A thread about Home and Garden Channel. My DH thinks it should be Pay Per View, because it .... costs him money every time I watch it......

I don't have one of those mysterious colored tags. I guess I don't say anything that the TF would ever notice.

But my self imposed tag talks about dragonflies being my friends. Dragonflies are simply a symbol that a group of my friends use. If you see one flying around, or if you're wearing your dragonfly pendant or pin, we think of each other, and it makes us smile, cheers us up, etc.

I'll make sure I have the correct ones after I post--they've changed a few times.

Can speak food in German--we were talking about what foreign languages we speak. I used to live in Germany and one thing I learned right away was how to order food.

He seemed so normal when I met him--I'm sure that was about DH but I don't remember the context.

It's not like I'm getting any special sanitation type service-Christmas last year and someone was asking how much we tipped the trash man. I don't tip mine for that reason.

I'm old school-I like my cartoon rodents to be mice--Mal was trying to explain to me about some new kids' show that features a guinea pig and I was having some issues trying to understand why kids would like that.

I used to have one that said John Malkovich! and another one that said Hang out with folks that are older than you (my advice on how to look younger.)
